Carlisle Support Services is a supplier of outsourced workforce solutions to commercial and public sector clients. We primarily offer security and cleaning services to the transport, retail and leisure sectors across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
Our cleaning and security teams are deployed across a large proportion of the UK’s railway infrastructure and rolling stock. Our event staff help to ensure the smooth operation of events at some of the UK’s premier sports and leisure venues.
We are also the UK’s largest supplier of outsourced merchandising services and retail operations personnel. Our retail support and interiors team work with some of the biggest names on the high street, and leading hotel and restaurant chains.
We tailor the provision of our services to ensure they’re not only repeatable but always sensitive to the needs of our clients. Utilising innovative IT solutions and Kaizen (lean processing) principles, we design our services to offer the best value and to continuously improve.
By eliminating the distraction of running non-core activities, our services allow our clients to run their core business more effectively. This delivers cost savings and ongoing cost control. We flex according to our clients’ aims, responding to peaks and troughs in demand, and developing new services quickly and proactively.
For example, in rail services our cleaning division has taken on train dispatch duties, utilising current staff by increasing their skill base and reducing downtime. Similarly, some of our security personnel are now trained to carry out minor maintenance tasks alongside their security duties. And we always ensure our employees are acutely aware of each client’s culture and values; providing a seamless extension to, and integration with, any client team.
