Ann Bookout named DE&I influencer

Ann Bookout has been named one of SIA’s 2022 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Influencers

Ann joins professionals from the US and Canada who champion ED&I in the staffing and workforce solutions industry.

Ann joined Impellam as Global Head of Culture and Fulfilment last year to drive our ED&I and Sustainability agenda. She has helped launch business resource groups focused on critical elements of diversity in North America and APAC, with the UK roll-out happening in the coming weeks. Ann also works closely with the Impellam Group Global Customer Office to support clients’ ED&I needs.
Commenting on Impellam’s commitment to establish itself as the organisation for ‘people with purpose’, she says: “We need to start with ourselves as an industry. What role do we play in addressing systems of inequity? As we develop sound strategies for our own organisations, this gives us the credibility and opportunity to partner with customers to influence collective change.”

Ann is an experienced ED&I practitioner, ally and advocate. Prior to joining Impellam, Ann worked at Accenture, becoming its first inclusion and diversity lead for the US Northeast region. Ann also worked at dentsu international, where she helped to build its ED&I strategy in the Americas. Outside of work, Ann serves as the VP Fund Development for the YWCA of Delaware and as a mentor for the University of Delaware’s Women’s Leadership Initiative.
