Job Title: Business Process Optimization Specialist

Accountable To: Sr. Director, Process Automation & Optimization

Accountable For: Drive process optimization and efficiencies across the organization and Impellam's client base

Location: Remote

Main Purpose of Role
This role will support the success of the organization by researching, analysing, recommending, and implementing improvements, leveraging technology platforms where applicable, to internal and external customers' business processes to improve overall organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate, and engage, with all levels of management/employees and be able to document existing processes, manage and analyse data, and recommend enhanced business processes with associated automations
  • Utilize the selected low-code platform (e.g. Catalytic, Power Apps, etc.) for creating data models, automations, and workflows
  • Plan and perform proof of concepts to help the business recognize the feasibility of an automated and/or optimized solution
  • Develop and sustain effective working relationships both internally and externally, influencing and driving positive change
  • Build trust with technology subject matter experts while being equally adept at communicating understanding to non-technical people
  • Productively challenge status quo of existing processes, always looking to drive improvements forward

Skills Required for the Role
  • A highly analytical approach to problem-solving, with an attention to detail
  • Strong desire to challenge the status quo and innovate
  • Leveraging empathy for colleagues when designing new or optimizing current functional processes
  • Is experienced in process analysis, requirements gathering and process design
  • Ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Confident written and verbal communication
    • Flexibility, and adaptability, to rapidly respond to changing priorities or project demands
    • Effective time management
    • Preferred three years staffing industry, VMS experience, MSP experience
    • Preferred two years project-based responsibilities
    • Process automation background is desirable, but not required
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A strong communicator, motivator, and influencer

Years of Specific Industry Experience Requirements

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Administration, or relevant educational or professional experience
