Senior Cash Analyst

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, match and apply daily cash receipts in Dynamics GP
  • Perform daily balancing and reporting reconciliation between GP activities, bank accounts and GL
  • Insure CER Detailed Aging report is pulled and saved each Monday (network drive/folder) for Cash team to use in applications process
  • Insure Unapplied Payments report is pulled and saved each Friday (network drive/folder) for Cash team to resolve within the required SLA
  • Monitor and report monthly results and metrics per policy and SLA’s
  • Establish and maintain relationships with account team members
  • Collaborate and cultivate continuous improvement through participation
  • Participate in year-end processing and audit requests

Required Qualifications:

  • Preferred knowledge of Cash Application practices and Dynamics GP or large ERP system
  • Demonstrated knowledge in all areas of cash receipt processing (Bank Remits, Applications, Daily Deposit Balancing, Unapplied Cash On-Account Resolution, etc.…)
  • Prior track record and understanding of transactional analysis, discrepancy conclusions and clearing actions (steps)
  • Experienced in systemic (auto) cash matching/posting as well as manual cash matching/posting processes to add value to improvement goals
  • Experience working with account management to resolve unapplied cash and missing remittances timely to meet application SLA’s
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
