If so, we have an exciting, brand-new, opportunity for a Performance & Development Business Partner - Learning Technologies, to join our growing global team.

Reporting to the Global Head of Performance & Development, you will be responsible for supporting our integrated business strategy by identifying, deploying and maintaining technology solutions that facilitate the access and delivery of effective performance and development support that meets the needs and future aspirations of our core employees and drives organisational performance through curiosity and continuous learning. The primary focus is to manage the P&D tech stack / ecosystem ensuring it is appropriate to meet the needs and requirements of the business and our people.

Key Responsibilities

• Product ownership, management and maintenance of our global LMS platform ensuring operational efficiency
• Utilising technology to realise a continuous professional development offering that is performance focused, insight led and learner centric
• Seeking and acting on opportunities to enable and continuously enhance access to learning and performance support resources via appropriate technologies
• Identify and remove barriers working towards creating a frictionless access to development resources
• Constantly seek ways to improve UX and UI of solutions
• Assist with resource development builds & deployment within learning platforms
• Proactively developing and maintaining a close working relationship with the business in order to ensure that technology is enabling a robust and high impact learning strategy for Impellam
• Developing opportunities to enhance technologies to enable greater social / peer-peer learning opportunities - making continuous learning an integral part of everyone's daily role
• Working collaboratively as part of the global P&D team and wider people team to deliver cohesive, aligned, integrated and impactful support to our people, enabling the delivery of Impellam's global people strategy
• Working closely with the IT team to deliver and manage technical/digital solutions that integrate with our infrastructure and enhance our digital society
• Partnering with our external learning tech providers developing strong and effective relationships
• Managing the commercials for learning technology stack - including identification of new tools and contract reviews

You will be:

• Highly knowledgeable in the space of general IT and cloud based infrastructure
• Experienced in working with LMS platforms (desirably SAP Litmos)
• Knowledgeable with the Microsoft Office suite (to an advanced level) - to include Power Apps and Power Automate
• Familiar and comfortable using coding languages including HTML and CSS and frontend web programming languages and skills in JavaScript
• An individual who has a wide and current awareness of the overall learning technology arena
• Knowledgeable with WCAG guidelines and able to design and deliver accessible products
• Strong communicator with a professional and personable disposition and strong stakeholder influencing skills
• Enthusiastic about self-led learning enabled by digital technologies
• Able to work well under pressure, managing competing priorities whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and a stickler for data quality and integrity
• Adaptable, resilient and positive working through organisational growth, transformation and evolving landscapes
• Someone with a hands on, 'roll your sleeves up' approach
• Great at working as part of a highly collaborative team, but can equally work autonomously

Whilst a background within the recruitment and staffing industry would be highly desired, it is not essential, and we are very open to hearing from you if you have a proven background within learning and development and adult learning technologies in other sectors.
