About being a Recruitment Consultant

Join our #OneBlueFamily at our well-established Edinburgh, Scotland branch to grow and take ownership of a desk placing permanent staff with clients in the Edinburgh area across all our sectors.

This is a great opportunity to join our top performing team in Edinburgh! As a team we have already hit our 2022 budget for temp and perms combined and we are now in a position to have another perm consultant join the team.

In our team we have 34 years experience in the local recruitment market and have lots of clients who return to us each time they are recruiting, in fact this week alone we have brought on 17 permanent positions at various clients throughout the city.

As a Recruitment Consultant you are supported by our advanced technology systems. At Blue Arrow we embrace blended working and offer our people the freedom to work from home for a proportion of their week. We are also committed to maximising wellbeing which is why we have a dedicated Out Of Hours service that can support our Operational teams when it's time to switch off.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities as a Recruitment Consultant will include:

  • Proactively developing new and existing business by identifying and establishing client relationships
  • Business to business sales activities
  • Client visits
  • Marketing, advertising and working to sales targets
  • Sourcing and recruiting for permanent vacancies
  • Building relationships with your clients and candidates
  • Service management - compliance, administration and updating systems
  • Proactive outbound marketing calls
  • You will be supported by a very experienced Branch Manager and team

About You:

A recruitment or sales professional you will have great relationship building skills with the ability and drive to develop new and existing business.
