About the Role

We are looking for a Billing Administrator to work in either one of our Luton or Leeds offices. The role will require timely and accurate reconciliation of Self Bills received from clients and maintenance of related Client Accounts. You'll complete all administration tasks within timescales and according to client specific requirements. Reporting and escalation of issues to the Team Leader which may impact on meeting required deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Self Bills are reconciled in accordance with set deadlines and to a standard process.
  • Give feedback and accurate information to Operations teams and clients.
  • Raise Adjustments to correct differences and identify the reasons for any differences.
  • Liaise with Clients and Operations teams to resolve queries and prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Make sure all Freshdesk email tickets are resolved within their SLA.
  • Continuously consider process improvement and strive to improve team efficiency.
  • Provide high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Ensure internal accounts are set up and maintained accurately.
  • Escalate issues that impact on the completion of tasks to the Team Leader
  • Liaise with other Finance functions (credit control, payroll, management accounts, and purchase ledger) to resolve issues in end-to-end processes as required.

What we're looking for

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills with experience including PIVOT Tables essential and being comfortable with formulas such as CONCATENATE, VLOOKUP and SUMIF.
  • Ability to communicate both internally and externally.
  • Disciplined approach to managing own workload whilst working to agreed targets and deadlines.
  • The ability to pay attention to detail whilst working to strict deadlines.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office experience is important)
  • Process improvement.
  • Able to understand basic business accounting e.g. vat calculations, pay and charge rates.
