Fireside Chats: Journeys in STEM

Our Director of Skills Growth, Christopher Blackburn, hosted engaging fireside chats with two remarkable women, Kayleigh Alabaster, Graduate Aircraft Engineer at Virgin Atlantic and Sophie Bolton, Communications Consultant at Impellam, diving into their journeys and the impact of apprenticeship pathways in STEM.

Supporting the Next Generation

We were also joined by Chris Bradley, Head of Employer Advocacy and Ambassador Network at the Department of Education, who emphasised the importance of apprenticeships in shaping the future workforce. “Through the Apprenticeship Ambassadors Network, we’re committed to inspiring, engaging, and supporting the next generation in pursuing meaningful careers,” Chris Bradley shared. We’re proud to have over 100 apprentices across Impellam and our customer sites, helping to shape the future of the industry and create opportunities for growth.”
