Impellam Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Marketing & ABM Manager to build and scale a high-impact Account-Based Marketing (ABM) capability to drive growth, retention and expansion across an established customer base through targeted customer marketing programmes and highly personalised, account-focused campaigns.

The opportunity

This is a new, specialist role within our marketing team, created to accelerate expansion across priority accounts and strengthen customer engagement at scale. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Operations to turn commercial opportunity into focused ABM programmes, campaigns and measurable outcomes.

Location & working pattern

This is a hybrid role (home-based) with regular travel to London-typically at least monthly for marketing collaboration, plus additional visits as needed to work closely with operational stakeholders. We're open on location across the UK for the right person, provided you're comfortable travelling into London regularly.

What you'll be doing

You'll own the delivery and optimisation of ABM and customer marketing programmes, including:

  • Executing account-focused ABM campaigns across priority accounts-building personalised journeys across email, LinkedIn, web and digital channels.
  • Helping shape and operationalise an ABM framework (account tiers, engagement pathways, campaign programmes) alongside marketing leadership.
  • Partnering with Sales Directors and Customer Success teams to align campaigns with account development plans and expansion goals
  • Creating campaign assets and materials that support customer engagement and sales conversations (case studies, insights, product updates, success stories).
  • Running campaign execution through marketing automation (HubSpot) and working with Marketing Ops on segmentation, workflows and tracking.
  • Producing reporting and insight on engagement, ABM performance, lead generation and pipeline influence-feeding results back to key stakeholders.

Bonus challenge (and the fun part): You'll help us mature our ABM approach and bring platform expertise to guide future capability-while still being able to deliver strong ABM outcomes without relying on a platform day one.

What you'll bring

We're looking for a true ABM specialist - someone who has owned ABM end‑to‑end:

  • Demonstrable experience creating, managing and executing ABM campaigns from strategy through to delivery and optimisation
  • Hands‑on experience with dedicated ABM platforms (e.g. Demandbase, 6sense or similar) and a deep understanding of how ABM works in practice

What it's like to work here

You'll be joining a high‑trust, collaborative marketing team with a strong focus on outcomes rather than presenteeism.

  • A supportive, non‑hierarchical culture where people are trusted to do their job well
  • Clear direction from leadership, with autonomy to shape how you deliver
  • A genuinely collaborative environment - marketing, sales and operations work together, not in silos
  • A "purpose, not presence" approach to office time: when the team comes together, it's meaningful and focused
  • An environment that values clarity, quality, outcomes and continuous improvement

This is a role for someone who wants to build something, have influence, and be trusted to get on with it.

Why join?

  • A newly created role with real scope to shape and grow ABM capability
  • High visibility work that directly supports commercial growth
  • Opportunity to influence future ABM direction, tooling and scale
  • A positive, outcomes‑focused culture where good work is recognised
